Girl uses footprint of its mother to unlock cell phone and shopping – The New Dia.com

Some fans of pokémon will do anything to catch them… literally.

This proved a little girl, 6 years old of Little Rock, Arkansas, when his mother was sleeping, he took his finger to unlock your phone and make a purchase by Amazon.

According to the Wall Street journal, the small Ashlynd grabbed the cell phone of his mother, Bethany Howell, while it was lying down taking a nap and was able to access and print the thumb.

The girl bought 13 products of pokémon, for a total of $ 250. He confessed when his parents thought that their account had been hacked, telling them that he had gone “shopping” and I had gotten the shipping address is correct.

Due to the sensor of a fingerprint of the phone, Ashlynd did not need a PIN or a password to access the phone applications.

Howell was only able to return four of the articles, the newspaper reported. He commented to his daughter that Santa learned of the small shopping spree and they would bring their articles of pokémon for Christmas.

earlier this year, a federal judge ordered Amazon to reimburse parents whose kids made in-app purchases without permission. The FTC accused the company of making it too easy for children to make unauthorized purchases in certain applications.

Google and Apple have also faced similar complaints in the past.
