NASA crew sends message from space – La Razon

          

The crew of Expedition 42, by Barry Wilmore commander and flight engineer at NASA, Terry Virts, sent from space videotaped Happy New Year message for humanity.

The video that was shot on board the International Space Station (ISS) since December 17, was released this day through a link to Youtube because for most countries the New Year begins today.

In the film can be appreciated Wilmore and Virts floating in zero gravity, sending messages of congratulations and commenting that the spacecraft will spend 16 times closer to Earth, so the date is celebrated by the crew the same amount of time with toast and fruit juice.

According to information posted on the official site of the National Administration of Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), 2015 officially begins crew Station at 19:00 until next January 31, which is midnight by the clock Universal Time (UTC), known as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in London.

The crew of the International Space Station has traveled the Earth orbit since late September, will remain there until mid-March 2015.
