Venus and Jupiter closer than ever ‘will look’ in heaven (Pics) – The Highlights

Venus and Jupiter closer than ever shine in heaven

Venus and Jupiter were closer than ever last morning. The spectacular conjunction of the two brightest planets in the solar system took place on Monday 18 August.

The conjunction of the two planets has been clearly visible in the sky, in a phenomenon that, although it occurs annually, could not see so clearly since 2000

The two planets will approach giving the impression that form a kind of double star.

Both planets are visible to the naked eye for about an hour before dawn on Monday.

The city of New York enjoyed the show, saw both planets shine brightly in the sky.

Despite Jupiter is much larger than Venus appeared in the sky as if it were a ‘moon’ of Venus (which actually has not), because it is much closer to Earth than Jupiter.

The alignments of Jupiter and Venus usually occur once a year, but usually the planets are close to both.
