The death of Steve Jobs in October 2011 enluteció millions of fans of his creations (particularly in its final stage as CEO of Apple), but this does not mean that the co-founder of technology giant no longer receives patents.
Steve Jobs has so far 458 patents to his name, 141 of them were granted in the three years after he died.
The MIT Technological Review recalls that the first patent in the name of Jobs is simply titled “personal computer.” After his death he gave the rights to the design as “dramatic nature” of an Apple store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
Among the patents owned Jobs are also iPod, iPhone, iPad, wall adapters; among others.
However, Jobs is still far from other inventors. In 2000 Time magazine did a ranking of inventors. Thomas Edison claimed first place with 1,093 patents registered in the US
