Apple would build factory in Japan Display screens for $ 1.7 bdd – PoderPDA

Apple has always been characterized by having total control in the manufacturing process and design of many of the components of its products, such as iPhone, iPad, iPod and computers Mac, but typically the components are manufactured by some other companies, but with an important quality control to avoid problems. One section where Cupertino seem to have much interest in the screens of their smart devices, because the firm is planning to build a factory screens, one of the most impressive projects of the company.

Japan Display is considering building a plant for manufacturing display in order to meet the demand component Apple . Amabas companies are negotiating this research project, said Friday according to a person familiar with the negotiations.

The Japanese company wants Apple to assume much of the 200 trillion yen ie, 1.7 billion to be invested in this plant, the aim would be to start operating from next year due to the high demand for displays that requires the US company.

iPhone

This new plant will be located in Ishikawa, Japan, as the source said. Meanwhile, Shuichi Otsuka, CEO of Japan Display, declared in 2014 that the company needed a new plant because the Mobara, Tokyo was reaching its maximum capacity, for them these rumors would have greater strength.
