Apple Sued by function Support for WiFi – ElTiempo.com

Apple faces a demand of five million dollars for a new feature is enabled by default after the operating system iOS 9. install This is the ‘Support for Wi-Fi’ , a feature that allows the iPhone to connect, automatically, the data plan when the signal is weak internet .

Apple, in its support blog says if we’re using Safari on a network of internet bad and a web page does not load, ‘Assistance for Wi-Fi’ is activated and automatically switch to the mobile data connection for the page to continue loading.

The company also added This function is not activated using a connection roaming applications nor when streaming video or audio are implemented in the foreground .

However, Apple does not specify if this new feature would be additional costs, for example, in people who have an unlimited data plan.
