Canary is one of the Spanish regions with less computer and Internet at home is used, while in the case of the mobile phone is almost at the national average.
Internet access and computer use in the home still has notable differences between the Spanish autonomous communities, just divide that exists in the use of mobile phones.
That’s one of the findings of the Survey on Equipment and Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Households 2014 published yesterday by the National Statistics Institute.
This survey measures the use of computers, Internet and mobile telephony in the last three months, and frequent Internet use.
The regions that lie above the Spanish average in the three indicators on the use of computers and the Internet are Madrid, Balearic Islands, Basque Country and Catalonia.
In Extremadura, Andalusia, Galicia and the Canary Islands is less than 70% of citizens who have used a computer in the last three months and Madrid exceeds 80%.
