Auschwitz says no to Pokémon Go – El Faro (El Salvador)

The game Pokemon Go, become a global phenomenon, and can be downloaded on mobile phones in Germany, the first European country where it is officially available, 13 Nintendo announced Wednesday.

The Auschwitz camp will receive the visit of Pope Francisco and at least 300,000 young people during World Youth Day, which will take place from 26 to 31 July in Krakow (southern Poland).

The game uses geolocation to enable its users to “hunt down” these little creatures of shapes and magical powers. The game is already a global success and has brought comic scenes between the “hunters” in parks, subway stations, vacant lots and even a hospital in Amsterdam.
