SEOUL, July 22 (Yonhap) – The South Korean company Samsung Electronics Co., the world’s largest maker of smartphones, announced Friday it has filed a lawsuit in China against Huawei Technologies Co., accusing the company of infringing six patents Samsung related to mobile phones and digital images.
the demand is seen as a response to Huawei after that this company demand.Campaigns Samsung in May in US and China for patent violation.
in a statement, Samsung criticized the phones and tablets Huawei for infringing its patents for mobile communications technology, storage data, images and other technologies, also accusing the Chinese company to present “irrational” patent lawsuits against them.
Huawei is the tecer world’s biggest smartphone maker, behind Samsung and Apple.
Samsung sold 81.18 million smartphones worldwide in the first quarter of this year, capturing 23.2 percent of the world market ahead of Apple with 14.8 percent and Huawei with 8.3 percent.
