Apple made a profit of 6,640 million in the fourth quarter … – The Reason

Apple has earned a net profit of 6,640 million euros in the fourth quarter thanks to strong iPhone sales, which amounted to 39.27 million handsets sold using the pull of the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 models Plus.

The company recorded quarterly sales of 32,890 million euros, exceeding the 29.296 million in the same quarter of 2013, when net profit of 5,859 million was reached.

The Apple Board of Directors has declared a dividend of $ 0.47 per share, for the ordinary shares of the company. The dividend is payable on November 13, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 10, 2014.

According to the Cupertino-based company, 60 percent of the quarter’s sales Apple has made outside the USA. “Our fiscal year 2014 has been worthy of record, including the biggest iPhone launch to date, with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus,” said the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook.
