MADRID, 14 Oct. (Portaltic / EP) –

A seven million emails used Dropbox accounts have been compromised when users and passwords have appeared Monday in a conversation on Reddit.

Filtration and passwords first pointed to a Dropbox hack , because those who leaked the data with them tried to access the service in the cloud. However, Dropbox has already announced on his blog that has not suffered any attacks and that the theft was the work of others elsewhere.

The filtration Reddit contained thousands of email addresses along with their access passwords , but apparently it could affect a total of seven million accounts. All emails beginning with the letter be.

From Dropbox explained that the vast majority of the accounts had expired, although they have already begun to take action, like reset passwords those involved and valid addresses on their service and send instructions to the concerned to know how to proceed.
