Google will launch its own messaging application in India – ITespresso.es

That tremble WhatsApp, Line, and the like. Google plans to launch a mobile messaging application, which initially tested in India before spreading to other emerging markets, according to today’s Indian newspaper Economic Times reported.

It ensures that that Google is in the early stages of development of the mobile application, which when is about to compete in space IM with WhatsApp, Line, Viber, Hike, WeChat or Telegram, among others . A Google spokesman said the company does not comment on speculation.

A prominent feature of the future app, whose name is unknown for now, is that is not compulsory to have a Google user account , as it does with Hangouts, extension Gmail chat. The application allows sending both text and voice messages.

The new service would be designed for use in the Emerging markets . With special focus on India, the country chosen to begin testing the application, which will have support for Hindi language.

Do not forget that India is a very important for Google market. In fact, it was there that the Mountain View giant began selling in mid-September its new line of low-cost smartphone running the Android One operating system, especially focused on emerging markets.
