what should be the victory of Apple?

Neil Mawston, executive director at Strategy Analytics, believes that the victory of Apple is due to the "errors of Samsung". Let us remember that the brand had a strong crisis in the second half of 2016 by the explosions of Note 7, which hurt his image considerably and capital.

"Samsung lost momentum in the third quarter as a result of their fiasco of the battery of the Note 7 (…) Samsung bet for the rumored Galaxy model S8 in a few weeks to revive growth and re-occupy the first place in the quarterly shipments of smart phones".

But it’s not all bad news for Samsung. The company is positioned in the 2016 as the number one in global sales, with 309.4 million terminals, which equates to a 20.8 % of the users all over the world.

Apple, for its part remained in second position, with 215.4 million phones sold, a total of 14.5 % of the market share. It is closely followed by Huawei, with 138.8 million of equipment sold, which translates into a 9.3 % of mobile sales.
