We tested the Lenovo Yoga Tablet with Android 2 [ANALYSIS] – The Trade

Lenovo has clear what you want for your tablets: a comfortable entertainment device. For the Yoga Tablet 2 is no exception.

The tablet presented in October in London, is very similar to its predecessor, but with significant changes in terms of design, the strongest point of this team. Unfortunately, neglected aspects that have nothing to do with entertainment.

I tried two weeks Yoga Tablet 2 Lenovo, version with Android and 10 inches (there is also Windows and 8 inches) and this is the highlight I could find in my experience.

COMFORT

If you’re looking for a tablet exclusively for movies or series, the 10 inches of this device, coupled to the material of aluminum and plastic and comfort of the appliance, make this one very sexy outfit.

Let’s go to detail. As we saw in the Pro version of the Yoga, this has a cylindrical shape on the bottom that displays 180% degrees and allows up to four different ways to catch the team: horizontal classic, reading (vertical) . supported to varying degrees back and forth and finally the new, more striking, the option to hang

Yoga Tablet 2 offers a perfect feature for this: Smart Switch which adjusts the screen as the way in which we are using the device

Audio

Lenovo takes out the juice to increased use of tablets.: consuming videos. And that not only improves comfort grip, but improves the audio. They take great advantage of the speakers placed at the front with Dolby application.

DISPLAY

A hit of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Higher resolution to Full HD offers a very rewarding experience watching videos.

Of course, this does not mean that the equipment can be used to check emails and social networks, something that can be done without any problem even with several applications at once.

BATTERY PROLONGED

I used watching Netflix, browsing social networking and listening to music, and battery 4,100 mAh last long enough.

Multitasking

You can work up to four apps at the same time. For example, see the mail while watching a YouTube video. Unfortunately, not all applications work with this mode, whereby the experience ends up not being too positive, but it does help.

PANEL OF SETTINGS

Similar to what is seen on the iPhone, incorporates a menu by sliding your finger on the screen from the bottom to access shortcuts, for example to connect to WiFi. This positive in the first instance, can be confusing because it is a stranger to Android element.

ANDROID AND SOME ERRORS

At first glance seems a version clean operating system Google, something like what is seen in the Nexus, but as you use leaves much to be desired that the possibilities exploit the most used mobile OS world is limited. However, this is no drama.

What is annoying is that sometimes applications to close soon and that the touchscreen take a while to respond at times.

Finally, it should be noted that this device is not equipped with projector does have the Pro version, which also could be analyzed. It was strange.

Conclusion

Yoga Tablet 2 is a portable and very convenient to use equipment. For all that is entertaining offers a superior experience with a battery that lasts long.

However, the Android version of Lenovo is not the best and although small delays and errors can not be problem for a regular user, for one more ‘tech’ or premium may itself be an inconvenience.
