CUPERTINO. Apple had announced a few weeks ago and today finally made effective: already available the first public versions to test its next operating system, iOS 9 (phones) and OS X Captain (computers) .
The idea of a public beta is not new to the company of Tim Cook. And e n this case, both releases are seeking to refine the concepts introduced in the last editions of the operating systems, improving performance and energy consumption of the devices.
This last point is especially relevant in IOS 9 which releases a power saving mode when the battery is low. In this operating system for iPhones and iPads also debuted a new app news (though for now it is only limited to the United States) and the way splitscreen in tablets.
Both trial versions are available from betas portal Apple . An account Apple ID is needed to register.
In the case of system computers, you should get an installable file to access the beta, and get updates from the Mac App Store . While in iOS devices, you must register a profile for the test, then you have to access the update via the settings menu.
The recommendation is not to use these Software testing equipment for everyday use, since although it is unlikely to show catastrophic failures do have experimental features that can affect performance in certain areas.
