NASA has released the first picture of a fully illuminated side of the Earth. The image was taken by the Deep Space Climate Observatory satellite (DSCOVR), which has a telescope and a 4-megapixel camera.
The satellite is 1,500,000 kilometers and was released in February ; on 6 July he took the picture. This instrument will be used to study the terrestrial climate phenomena and the sun as the solar wind. Besides daily photos are sent so that people can see the Earth full color
