Google Inc. on Tuesday unveiled a redesign of its iconic logo, the fifth such change since the foundation of the Internet search engine in 1998, the company said in a posting on his blog.
The refreshed logo, displayed on a “doodle” on the homepage of its website, showing the word “Google” using the sans-serif, similar to that used for holding newly created, Alphabet.
The compact version of the logo used to identify the most applications, it passes the blue icon with the “g” tiny and replaced by a “G” cap color blue, red, yellow and green, to match the full logo.
The new brand identity “is intended to make it accessible and useful to our users Google,” the company said in a posting on the blog in explaining the logo.
The new logo comes three weeks after the unexpected decision of Google to create a conglomerate called Alphabet to bring together its many divisions and separate its core business, its search engine, to new ventures such as cars without driver.
