Facebook will provide encryption for your app Messenger – La Voz del Interior

Facebook will offer the option encrypted in your app Messenger content, so that messages can be read only on devices where they were sent or received.

In addition, the user can choose for how long the message remains visible, the company announced Friday.

The new option of “secret talks” will not work on all devices. Therefore, even if a person has Messenger on your phone and also on your computer, the conversation will appear in only one of the two devices.

The new feature is being tested among a small group of people, Facebook said, but will soon be offered to more users.

WhatsApp, the messaging service owned by Facebook, and uses encryption in all posts.
