Detect possible polar ice on Pluto – El Diario de Coahuila

 MEXICO CITY (El Universal) .- Images New Horizons spacecraft NASA revealed that the dwarf planet Pluto could host a polar layer.

 This was discovered after analyzing the images captured in early April by LORI telescopic camera.

 According to NASA images some surface marks (dark regions) and a bright region in the pole which could be observed ice

.


 “As we get closer, we begin to observe the characteristics of the Pluto system, as the bright region near the pole, this is the beginning of a great scientific adventure to understand this mysterious celestial object” John Grunsfeld, associate administrator pointed Directory Science Mission NASA.
