Facebook will test another button to show empathy – El Nuevo Herald

Facebook eventually could add a button that could easily express something more than a “like”.

The founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Tuesday that people have called it a button “I do not like” for years.

During an event at the premises of Facebook in Menlo Park, California, which was broadcast live online, Zuckerberg acknowledged that a “like” is not always appropriate for some messages for example, tragic news. – when wanting to express empathy

Zuckerberg said the company, however, has refused to put a button “I do not like” that can be used to reject messages from others. He said the new button is ready for testing stage and its use could be expanded according to the results of the same.
