Microsoft filed a lawsuit against the US government by a federal law that allows authorities to examine the emails of your customers or files online without the knowledge of the person.

In the case of Microsoft, the company claims that the Justice Department is abusing for decades of a law for orders court requiring the company to supply information emails and client files stored on their servers, while at the same time forbids that in this case Microsoft notifies its customers.
Representatives of the Department of Justice have not responded to the lawsuit filed Thursday in federal court in Seattle.
