Take a look at the wonderful world of Dragon Quest XI – Akihabara Blues

on the occasion of the Jump Festa 2017, Square Enix brings us new details about Dragon Quest XI: In Search of the Time Past, come to PS4, 3DS and Switch.

In that event have shown two videos that, the truth, promise to promise fairly. In addition, they have revealed more details about the game.

We will move by the world of Lotozetasia, with regions clearly differentiated in it. We can see some snowy mountains, a desert, a gigantic sea, and the highlight, a tree in the middle of it that promises to be a key site of the adventure. By what you see in the video of gameplay, we will be able to travel the world astride a horse. Something that is appreciated in addition to the absence of random battles. So, we will be able to see the critters on the map and if we want to fight against them we will be able to do so. As in Dragon Quest IX.

If I had to pick one version I would choose the PS4, with these effects of light and its visual aspect precious. It looks like that the version for Switch will be the same. Although the edition of 3DS has its charm. We will be able to travel the world on the top screen and on the bottom we can see everything in 2D as in the titles of Super Nintendo. We will visit Lotozetasia – who came up with that name? – along with a new nameless hero, a young man of Ishi who embarks on his adventure as it meets the 16. Next to him accompanying us on a Camus, a thief, and more characters that will be joining the adventure.

Dragon Quest XI will be released in Japan along of 2017. What In Europe? No idea, but hopefully sooner rather than later. What is sure is that we will find ourselves with a game of head-to-toe. We must also remember that the latest installment numbered – and not online – it came out in 2009 in Japan. Finally, we will have a new adventure!
