More than 10,000 web pages based on 'The Onion Router' (Tor), a software encrypted network that allows the owners to maintain their online privacy, have been hacked by a group affiliated with the organization Anonymous.

The group attacked the servers of Freedom Hosting II, a popular service that hosts Internet sites through Tor, and asked for a ransom of 0.1 bitcoins (less than $ 100) in exchange for returning the information of these pages, which occupy at least 20 percent of Dark Web in the world.

"we’re disappointed… This is a snippet of your main page 'We have a zero-tolerance policy against child pornography', but what we found while we were looking for on their servers is that more than 50 percent are of child pornography." accuses the grouping of hackers in a message presented in all of the sites attacked.
