With 245 HP, the new Octavia vRS is the most powerful and always will be one of the highlights of the Geneva motor show already here less than a month.
The engine remains the 2.0-liter direct-injection supercharged until the technicians of the Skoda were able to check out more than 15 HP, uploading now 245 HP and 370 Nm of torque. With these values, the vRS goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,6 seconds (the smiley face makes the same exercise in 6.7 seconds) reaching the 250 km/h (van 245 km/h).
The box is a unit with six-speed manual, but for the first time, the customer may opt for the gearbox DSG dual-clutch with seven speeds. The traction is to the front wheels that feature a limited-slip differential-mail.
The sports version was lowered of 14 mm and the rear track is now wider 38 mm, while the settings of the chassis can be regulated through the driving modes available, and there is a option "dynamic", which modifies all of the setups on the car.
The Octavia vRS 245 has a long list of technologies available as the system of info-entertainment with a screen of 9.2 inches, wifi connection, voice control, induction charge mobile phone, Mirror Link, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, applications and many more things. The security team comes reinforced with the emergency braking autonomous, aid for use of trailer, detector dead angle, traffic alert for the rear and the "Crew Protect Assist" which closes the windows and the roof open, in case of forecast of impact, increasing the tension of the seat belts.
