WhatsApp voice calls come to iOS – Digital Journal Juárez

Federal District – A few weeks ago, the messaging service WhatsApp introduced its new function calls through your application for users with Android operating system. Now, this new tool has come to iOS users.

The updated app for Apple’s operating system is now available on iTunes.

The interface of iOS to make free calls on WhatsApp did not change, as in Android, where a view of three columns are added. For iOS, WhatsApp just added a call button. The icon is on the far right, right next to the profile image of another user.

“Llama for free to friends and family, even if they are in another country. The function titled Call WhatsApp uses your Internet connection to your phone, instead of calling plan your mobile operator “can be read in the description of the app.

However, as mentioned on the site The Verge, it may happen that while the update is installed, this does not work yet, since WhatsApp mentions that will deploy “Slowly function during the coming weeks.”

Another improvement that presents the application is that it engages smoothly with the new iOS 8 system, which means you can share pictures, videos, links or other bits of information using the share button in other applications. Other new features is the inclusion of a button for quick access to the camera and the ability to send multiple videos at once.

To install the latest update WhatsApp is only necessary to enter or click iTunes here. WhatsApp update to iOS with this new feature is the version 2.12.1 and weighs 54.2MB.
