Facebook launches news application Notify – Aguasdigital.com

San Francisco (USA), November 11 (EFE) .- Notify Facebook today launched an application that sends news fast notifications users based on their interests and offers the option of accessing more detailed content to open the link in your browser.
“Today we are presenting Notify, a new Facebook application that provides notifications about things that interest you Your favorite sources, all concentrated in the same place, “said Julian Gutman, director of product on the official Facebook blog network.
Users who download the application can choose to be notified of sports games, Over time, the latest movies on billboards or informational alerts from CNN, to name just a few.
Notify also offer suggestions to users based on their profiles on Facebook and share favorite allow notifications via text message and through social networks directly from the screen of the application.
The application distribute content daily as “The New York Times”, “The Washington Post” and Vogue, Fortune and People, as well as photographs from the Getty agency.
In all, Facebook has 72 partners in the project.
The application currently only works in the United States and smartphones Apple iPhone.
The launch comes shortly after the social network announced earlier this month that more than 894 million of the more than 1,000 million users accessing the network daily to do so through mobile, making it the priority support.
