The social network Google suffered a total transformation, targeting mainly to provide users with a platform on which to exchange including topics that interest them, he said the company in a blog entry.

Google+ began his journey in 2011, first through an invitation system and then opening the system to more users. The intention of the Internet giant, as seemed at first, was seriously compete with Facebook, the social network segment leader. Later he said to serve as a link between different Google services group.

Now, the network seeks to focus on the two functions would have meant more growth, Communities and Collections, with the first adding 1.2 million new users each day and the second growing at an “even higher” rate.

The result is a “completely redesigned Google+ that puts Communities and Collections downtown. Now focused around interests, the new Google+ is simpler. And it’s more friendly to mobile devices, as we have reconstructed through web, Android and iOS so you have a quick and consistent experience in a large or a small screen, “the company said.

“Google+ is much easier since it is oriented experience based on the interests of users,” the company said in its blog post.

A few months ago Google decided separate backup system Google+ photos and videos, launching as a standalone product, dubbed “Google Photos”.
