good Korean sedan offers what Kia can give better: value for your money

It is well known that the life experience is the best ever. Therefore, Kia Optima provided us so that we witness, for three months, how is the coexistence in the day with this Korean sedan.
The version we have (EX GDI), is the second of smaller equipment, front-wheel drive and turbocharger engine lacking. Still, we can see that dispenses not luxuries. As always, we get a good brand value / price, especially in areas such as space and security. The price of this unit is 361 thousand 900 pesos, 80 pesos less than the top version, which already has same 2.0-liter engine and turbocharger.
Team and finished are aspects of good quality, but already deploying go with the passing of the trial period.
A national history
As we know, the Korean automaker has little walk in our market. However, this has not prevented him from establishing a plant in our territory and gain followers based on their offer. In addition, Kia enjoys good reputation in areas such as reliability, security and performance aspects we can see more experientially in this period.
The Optima is a bit different from the others and noticed on the faces of those who flipped us see as we go on board this car. It is not such a common car. For many it is purposing aesthetically, something that surely eventually normalize, but does not mean that our vehicle for three months short supply of certain “appeal”.
The first contacts have been brief and have taken place in the city, with satisfactory results. We can feel a good quality of materials, such as on the dashboard and side panels with inlaid wood type and the leather upholstery on the seats, despite being one of the “austere” versions. In addition, space is definitely one of the strongest attributes, as quietly fit four passengers and one center in the seguna row, preferably smaller.
The handling is comfortable. The 2.4-liter engine and 185 horsepower along with the automatic gearbox six relations. The shift is a little awkward, but nothing that alters driving, but the car does not convey many emotions to whoever is behind the wheel.
The entertainment is guaranteed. There are steering wheel audio controls; touch screen fast response and pairing with the phone acted effectively.
The economy is relatively good, because taking into account that occasionally we “we allocated” with Sport mode, Eco mode compensate with traffic in our city. The average consumption is around 9.3 kilometers per liter. Safety, six airbags; electronic stability control and traction and, of course, brakes with ABS.
Yes, it is a sober drive and serves to take you from point A to point B, but with much comfort, convenience, even some luxury at a price range in which this is not so common. It is a great car for everyday use by an executive or family outings.
There are still many things to discover, for less than one month after their arrival, the Optima will surely have various benefits that do not yet know. We’ll see if after living a little more, the relationship will become more pleasant or not.
