MEXICO CITY (CNNExpansión) – The case of the 43 students Ayotzinapa, the epidemic of Ebola, and the flight MH17 #IcebucketChallenge Malaysia Airlines demolished in Ukraine were some of the news that Mexicans most searched in Google for 2014.
“Users around the world perform approximately two million searches per minute in Google; it is people with all kinds of tastes, any age and gender, “the company said during the presentation of search results 2014. In the category of the most sought news top five terms in Mexico were: the epidemic of Ebola, Ayotzinapa, Ice Bucket Challenge, Malasyia Airlines and Capture Chapo.
In the top ten also featured some of the constitutional reforms the government of Enrique Peña Nieto promoted during 2014: Energy Reform, Fiscal and Telecommunications under the search phrase “Telecom Law” .
The terms greater tendency searches were: The World Cup in Brazil with “Global 2014″ the death of the actor “Robin Williams”, the output and related events ” iPhone 6 “epidemic” Ebola “the scandal over the leaked images of the actress” Jennifer Lawrence “and the complex and addictive game for mobile devices” Flappy Bird “to name a few.
The results of index terms from Google searches 2014 show a reflection of some of the main uses that Mexicans give the Internet. Terms like CURP, Games, Images, Time, Google Translate, Videos laughing and Videos of terror, love phrases, Horoscopes and Love Poems placed in the top ten ranking.
The Most Wanted in 2014 in Mexico were the Nobel Gabriel García Márquez Prize for literature, who died in April this year; astrologer and counselor web Nana Calistar and Edgar Tamayo, Mexican sentenced to the death penalty in the United States and executed earlier this year.
The topics that captivated the laughter and imagination of Mexicans to become Memes of the year were: Ice Bucket Challenge, it was not criminal, Minions, selfie, Kermit and Lucero Hunting.
