WASHINGTON, USA, 31 December 2014.- The astronauts aboard the International Space Station sent from space their greetings and congratulations via a YouTube video.
The recording entitled “Happy New Year from the International Space Station” or “Happy New Year from the International Space Station,” was uploaded by the official account of the NASA .
video starring the Expedition 42 commander, Barry Wilmore, and flight engineer Terry Virts, both of NASA, was recorded on December 17, but only published in YouTube.
“Terry and I have calculated that pass over an area in which it is midnight 16 times during the day, so we plan to celebrate the New Year 16 times with our comrades and the people on Earth “said Wilmore.
