Mexico, DF.- The Crew of the Expedition 42, it is the responsibility of the commander Barry Wilmore and flight engineer of the NASA , Terry Virts, sent a video from space , in which they wish f appy New Year.
The message was recorded on board the International Space Station (ISS) since last December 17, but was released today.
In the video you can see Wilmore and Virts floating in zero gravity, sending congratulations and commenting that the spacecraft will spend 16 times closer to Earth, so the date is celebrated by the crew’s same number of times with toast and fruit juice.
According to information from the official site of NASA, 2015 officially begins for the crew of the station at 19:00 until next January 31, which is midnight by the Watch Universal Time (UTC), known as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in London.
The ISS crew has traveled the Earth orbit since late September, will remain there until mid-March 2015.
