NASA probe sends images of Jupiter’s poles – San Juan Time

A space probe of NASA sent the best images of Jupiter to date, which reveal turbulent storms in the North Pole.

NASA released a set of images of approaches on Friday made the last week from the Juno probe to a distance of 4,023 kilometers (2,500 miles) from the upper layers of the clouds of Jupiter.

That was the first of three dozen tours nearby planned for the mission of the ship which will last 20 months.

the scientific head of the mission, Scott Bolton, said the north pole has storms and appears bluer than the rest of the planet.

Jupiter, the solar system’s largest planet is a gas giant surrounded by stripes and swirls of color.

June began orbiting Jupiter in July after a journey of five years to make a map of the poles, and . observe the atmosphere and interior

the probe will circle Jupiter at the smallest distance that has done any other spacecraft
