The new Google phones Pixel were to be manufactured by Huawei, the chinese company which, as many will remember, was also behind the Nexus 6S the past year, a phone with which he tried to enter the U.S. market, however, something in the relationship between the two companies went wrong.
According to a report from Android Police, Google actually wanted that Huawei will develop new phones Pixel. The chinese company agreed to maintain the collaboration, but then appeared a small detail of those that draw back a business: Google did not want the phones to have the logo of the chinese brand in any part, because in his new philosophy, the big “G” of Google is the one that dominates the device.
This was the first problem, but it was not the only one. The report claims that after these other factors were taken into consideration, among which highlighted some fissures in the relationship that has kept them together to sell the Nexus 6P, between those who stressed that, while Google offered the phone to be sold in the four largest operators of the US, this never happened – although the phone was compatible – and also would have fulfilled agreements sets of advertising.
Currently, Huawei is considered the biggest mobile phone manufacturer on the planet, according to IDC Research, however their penetration in the U.S. is lower. Its partnership with Google aims to help you to get known in this market.
Huawei and Google were contacted to give a comment, but did not respond immediately.
The new Google Pixel X and XL that will launch the company in the event of this October 4 would have been developed or at least assembled by HTC. The first will be 5 inches and the second-5.5-inch and according to ensure a number of reports will have a Snapdragon processor 821, 4GB of RAM and between 32GB and 128GB of storage.
