One of the favorite features of Mass Effect 2 were the missions of loyalty (loyalty missions). These missions will add a weight to the narrative very valuable to each one of the characters that accompanied us on our adventure. If you recall, the system of loyalty disappeared in Mass Effect 3, but will be back in the form of chips with Mass Effect Andromeda.
"he Loved the missions of loyalty," says the creative director of the game, Mac Walters. "As a writer, one of the things I loved was the freedom to say "I know that this character will come with me", which carries much of the narrative. That made my job easier, but also made it more fun, because I could tell a story more specific in any of those missions." With the return of this system, the new game of the series is constituted by various elements that aderezarán the main plot.
Walters also emphasized that the missions of loyalty are only part, along with many other contents that will have the game, of a larger whole that includes many more activities.
"The big difference between these and the ME2, where you did the missions of loyalty, and that ended up affecting the final, is that they are now much more optional, if you do not want to involve you don’t have to do it. If you want to involve after completing the main line, you can do it."
What do you think of the news of the return of this type of missions?
