Samsung Pay will be available for the users of the Gear S3 that decide to use the watch with an Android device that is not compatible with Galaxy and this will be possible through an update to the app Gear Manager, as he was able to know 9to5Google.
The update enables a new section of Samsung Pay in the app, which will allow users to configure their cards the same way they would with a phone Galaxy. The big difference is that you will not be able to pay with mobile, only with the clock that must be a Gear S3 Classic or Frontier.
Using this method of pairing, Samsung Pay will work with NFC as the technology of MST, which means that you’ll be able to pay with the watch in terminals new and also the old ones which only read cards with a band.
This new watch from Samsung went on sale in the U.S. on November 6 and is already in stores. In countries such as Spain barely come up to the first days of December.
The company gave to know also a special promotion for US through which will reward the users who use Samsung Pay with points that will allow them to level up and that can be redeemed for gifts at department stores.
