Samsung has made their first move of 2017. The company has launched the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7 (2017), which, as it were indicating some reports released resistance to water and dust proof IP68 — the same as that of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge — in the medium range.

In a press release the company said the Galaxy series (2017) is noteworthy for having a metal structure and a rear-glass 3D, which is inspired by the legacy of the phones more expensive to the company and which ensures makes them very easy to hold in the hand.

The three models come in colors black, gold, blue, and peach. The A7, the larger, comes in at 5.7 inches, with a battery of 3,600 mAh and a camera of 16 megapixels.

The A5 is medium, and has a screen of 5.2 inches, and the same cameras above. For its part, the A3 has a 4.7-inch screen, a rear camera of 13 megapixel and a front 8 megapixel camera.

While the A7 and the A5 have an eight-core processor 1.9 GHz accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the A3 has an on-chip eight-core 1.6 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, both can expand their capacity by using microSD up to 256GB.

Another differentiator are the batteries. In the A5, we find 3,000 mAh with fast charging, while in the A3 we have 2,350 mAh. Both phones are complete with USB Type-C, NFC, Samsung Pay, and sensor fingerprint.

The three models also come in peach colour.

Samsung has wanted to highlight that this is the first occasion on which these devices of the middle range include resistance to water and dust. Similarly, they have Samsung Pay and a folder of content that are protected by biometric authentication.
