Neck cream would 67P – The Nation Costa Rica

Berlin (EFE) .- captured by the color filters of Osiris instrument Pictures Rosetta spacecraft suggest the presence of ice on the neck of Comet 67P / Churyumov-Gerasimenko, called “Hapi region”. This data is presumed by Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (MPS) in Goettingen, Germany.

The images show that the neck of the sun reflecting red light ( usual in the nuclei of comets and asteroids) less effectively than most other regions, so its appearance is slightly blue.

In addition, in recent months , this area has been active: many of the sources of dust and gas that the star launches into space, originate there. The quality of reflectance of the comet, scientists say, make it unique to the Hapi region.
