Total solar eclipse, the next day 20 – El Diario de Yucatán

         


     

On the morning of Friday 20 March, before the arrival of spring, the first and only total solar eclipse of 2015 will be observed this phenomenon will be visible in parts of Europe, Asia, Africa and especially in Faroese (between Scotland and Norway).

Although this eclipse is unfortunately not observed in Mexico and Latin America , people can follow in the portal “Slooh” which transmit the phenomenon in vivo. According to the NASA website, eclipses occur when a celestial body blocks of part or the light of another celestial object.

Solar eclipses occur only during the new moon, when the satellite is between Earth and the Sun in a straight line. The next eclipse will be total lunar year, which will be observed next April 4 and will have greater visibility over the ocean Pacífico.- SUN
