Mexico, DF.- Dick Costolo will no longer be the CEO of Twitter and will be temporarily replaced by the co-founder of the social network Jack Dorsey, for a limited time in which the Council meets to find a permanent CEO.
In a brief statement, Twitter announced the decision Costolo , who shall hold office until the first of July, and then join the board. He did not specify the reasons why Dick leaves office.
Following the decision, Twitter has begun to implement changes, one of them is to remove the limit of 140 characters for Direct Messages .
