Google evaluated 1.2 million web addresses at the request of European Internet – The Nacional.com

Google released a new report detailing transparency has assessed 1,235,473 to remove links in response to requests from users in Europe.

Case applications

Google explained in the report some of requests received from users in Europe, so that your personal information be removed from the search engine. Here are some examples:

1) A public official of Hungary requested the search giant, it will recall recent items “that talk about a criminal conviction of several decades old”. The company said it did not remove the information.

2) In Latvia a political activist was stabbed during a protest and requested the removal of a link to a note on the incident. “We eliminated the pages of search results that include the name of the victim,” said Google.

3) In Italy, a woman made a request that Google remove a newspaper article about the murder of her husband, who had posted long and included her name. The company decided to remove the search pages where the information was.

4) In the UK, a person asked to take off Internet links to articles about your fired “for sexual offenses committed at work.” Google ignored this request.
