Faraday’s Future, has unveiled its first electric vehicle, called FF 91 in the technology fair CES 2017, in Las Vegas. The presentation took place after the last year show a sporty vehicle power is not functional instead of a car that anyone could buy.
The FF 91 is a vehicle with 1,050 horse power, a battery that promises 600 miles of autonomy, an electric motor and driving autonomous, qualities that put him to compete with the cars of Tesla.
The vehicle Faraday’s Future is spacious, has four seats comfortable and is able to achieve an acceleration of up to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.39 seconds. Something curious about this car is that the company wants you to be more connected as possible, and to this end keeps a record of the personal settings of the passenger regardless of the seat in which they are located.
we must add To this screens are ubiquitous. There is a large horizontal screen for rear passengers, a driver and passenger and a rear-view mirror high resolution digital. The seat back can also recline in this car, although to tell you the truth, I felt as if I was in the dentist when I tried it.
driving autonomous of this vehicle will be guided by a radar, lidar 3D, 10 high-definition cameras, 13 radars of long-and short-range and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
For the moment, the format self-only works on privately owned parking lots which should be mapped and pre-authorized, although it is a step forward no doubt.
The battery of this car will be supplied by LG Chem, the same company that worked with General Motors to develop the battery pack of the Chevrolet Bolt EV.
Faraday’s Future plans to deliver vehicles in 2018, while currently the factory of the company exists only on paper. The site in Nevada where it will be built has been leveled, but there are no buildings yet. While the technology of the FF 91 and looks promising, without the means of production, it is inevitable to be skeptical.
A contingent of reporters of CNET in Spanish is in Las Vegas to bring you all the coverage of CES 2017. Do not miss out on details, and follow us every day.
