instant messaging services evolve as the platforms where they are present they do. WhatsApp is an example of how applications evolve and require more support for the features they offer, reason why I decided to abandon old operating systems.

Now, turning to another of the instant messaging apps more popular, we will find that Telegram has decided to go down the same road. Through the frequently asked questions section, the messaging service revealed discreetly that no longer will support more versions prior to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich:

"you Can use Telegram on smartphones, tablets and even computers. We have apps for iOS (6 and up), Android (4.0 or later) and Windows Phone. You can also use the web version of Telegram, or install one of our apps for Windows, OSX and Linux".

This means that Android 2.2 Froyo, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Android 3.0 Honeycomb are now only part of the last Telegram. because maybe they want to dedicate themselves entirely to the versions of the operating system that will be able to withstand the addition of features in future updates.

Officially, the Telegram did not reveal the why of this decision, more than obvious to anyone that is dedicated to the development of applications. So, for the users of the platforms deserted, no more will there be that you change your mobile device with an operating system or version of Android that the application of messaging support.
