According to the official blog of Google, ‘Traveller’ is a service that indicates so. Automatic popular places to visit, which are represented by different colors.

These can be downloaded for free and used as wallpapers on cell and tablets.
“For the 10th anniversary of Google Earth, we expanded the collection of Earth View 1500 landscapes from all continents and oceans, making these images even more accessible,” said Sean Askay director Engineering Google Earth.
To access the function ‘Traveler’ must be done from the version of Google Earth for computers. At the moment it is not available for mobile devices.
