Gamelab Barcelona 2015 , the video game trade show in Barcelona, opens this Wednesday 24 its eleventh edition with a very special guest: Toru Iwatani creator the legendary Pac-Man (1980) to be awarded the Legend Award this prestigious conference which aims to discuss and analyze the present and future of the video game creative, economic and technological Nive. Iwatani is not the only special guest at the event, which will feature leading names such as Shinji Mikami , creator of Resident Evil, or of Jordan Mechner, father of iconic Prince of Persia.
The currently commands, and so the new edition of the Gamelab, held over the next three days, will focus on new technologies such as Virtual Reality and other innovative forms game. Richard Marks, engaged in the development of Project Morpheus , the virtual reality of Playstation 4; and Ken Bretschneider, creator of theme parks based on virtual reality as The Void will also attend the fair among other papers.
The event will not lack Goichi Suda, Japanese developer known as the Tarantino video games for their works of authorship such as No More Heroes and Killer 7 Killer is Dead, as well as leading figures from leading companies like Creative Assembly or Bioware, creators of sagas like Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
Educating through the game
The Barcelona fair will also try one of the hot topics around the game as is its role in education. Gonzalo Frasca explain how interactive entertainment can play an important role in teaching new century. The interactive, or what is the same the way they have games to tell stories and express narrative will also be an interesting topic of discussion at the hand of the creative director of Alien Isolation (Alistair Hope) or one of the director of The Witcher 3 (Konrad Tomaszkiewicz).

Gamelab will take place in Barcelona from 24 to 26 June at the Hotel Barceló Sants and has the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, the Government of Catalonia through the Catalan Institute for Cultural Empreses, elDepartament Company i Ocupació and Acció, the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism through Red.es , FICOD and the Barcelona City Council using the Institut de Cultura.
