The popular application for creating pictures and videos that self-destruct in seconds is generating buzz in recent days, and not because of its new filters. Snapchat explained in their Terms and Conditions that can not guarantee the date by which the material that users create on their platform is eliminated. However, the company said it is not storing private photos of users, but the constantly erased.

This is not the first time something happens related privacy of users snapchat. Last May, the platform was accused by the FTC to generate false expectations regarding privacy. Although the application stated that the images and sent through its service video left no trace, the Commission said snapchat could not make this claim with certainty.
