Sony Mobile Xperia and Xperia Z5 Z5 Compact reach Mexico – CNET in Spanish

Sony Mobile Xperia and Xperia Z5 Z5 Compact come to Mexico this Friday, November 6, exclusively with the operator Telcel.

Sony announced Thursday the availability of both phones and their prices. In unsigned mode, the Xperia Z5 may be purchased at a price of $ 12.999 pesos (about US $ 787), while the Xperia Z5 Compact will be priced at $ 9.999 pesos (about US $ 605).

If you prefer, Telcel also sell both phone rate plan. In 1000 Telcel Pro Plan over a period of 24 months, the Z5 will cost $ 7.499 pesos (about US $ 453) and Z5 Compact $ 4.959 pesos (about US $ 300).

Sony took just two months in bringing two of their most important phones to Mexico. The technology giant introduced two phones in September during IFA electronics fair 2015.

The Xperia Z5 has a screen of 5.2 inches and resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels with a pixel density of 424 dpi . The processor is an eight-core Snapdragon 810 and speed of 2GHz. It has 32GB of internal storage and you can insert a microSD of up to 200GB. The battery is 2,900mAh.

The rear camera is 23 megapixels – the same as the Z3 Compact – and is one of the main benefits of the Sony phone. According to the firm DxOMark, Xperia Z5 camera is the best in a smartphone. The camera received a rating of 84 out of 100 by the site and the Xperia Z5 was in first place in the ranking DxOMark.

The Compact Xperia Z5 Z5 shares with specifications but with minor changes. The screen is 4.6 inches with a resolution of 1,280×720 pixels and 319 ppi pixel density. Z5 Compact battery has a capacity of 2,700mAh. It has 2GB RAM.
