for over 30 years, Nintendo has changed the lives of many with their video games. But for the company it is time to make the leap to new platforms beyond their consoles, and not we talk about smartphones but more of a theme park giant that is soon to open in Japan.
The park was announced in mid-2015, and the simple idea we marveled at. What better idea for a venue huge inspiration in the worlds of Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda? At E3 2016, the company created a small space theme inspired in the new title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and that was just a nod to what we might see in the future.
But now Nintendo finally presented the first conceptual image of your park, which will be called "Super Nintendo ” World" and will be located at the headquarters of the park Universal Studios Japan. Technically more of a theme park individual this will be a new zone (or "world", as they like to call them at Universal) that will be added to the enormous public and private.
As we can see in the image on these lines Mario Bros and your world will be a large part of the place. The park will be from the castle of Princess Peach to Bowser, in addition to tunnels and fungi characteristic of kingdom. We will have to wait some time to get to know more details of how will be the attractions.
If this is only one of the sections of the park we can’t wait to see what they will do with the world of Zelda. The park will open its doors in the year 2020 in Osaka, but Nintendo has plans to make parks like this one in Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando at some point in the future.
