The Earth is composed of two planets collided and merged – With Our Peru

The Earth is composed of two planets collided and melted and after the impact a piece that is the Moon broke off, say researchers at the University of California.

The study contradicts the theory that the moon formed from a part of the Tea protoplaneta after having collided with Earth in its early stages of formation, reports The Guardian.

The researchers, led spor Edward Young, said the results ruled out the hypothesis of the origin of the Moon stating that a smaller planet, Tea, touched the Earth and after impact was launched into orbit this for give rise to the moon.

Tea Young argues that crashed into the earth with such force that the planets coalesced and there a small piece broke off to form the Moon.

The old theory is not true because if so, the moon would have had a basically equal to the chemical composition of Tea, but this theory has not been proven in the course of an examination of the isotopes of oxygen Moon rocks.

The scientist states that there is no difference between the oxygen isotopes of the Earth and the Moon, are indistinguishable and this would result of great impact, that is so strong the two planets melted.

The impact with the planet must have occurred about 100 million years after the initial formation of the earth, this is more than 4,500 million years ago. Photo: newsroom.ucla.edu
