The US agency said in a statement that its office Near-Earth Object indicates that there has been observed asteroids or comets that could affect the Earth at any moment foreseeable future.
“ All potentially hazardous asteroids have a probability of less than 0.01% of hitting Earth in the next 100 years,” he said.
The Spanish newspaper El Pais, said that many blogs, videos and web publications are claiming that an asteroid will hit Earth sometime between 15 and 28 September near Puerto Rico.
“If there was any object large enough to make that kind of destruction in September, would have seen something and ” NASA said.
