YouTube on Wednesday announced the support for transmission of live video in 4K.
The giant video site of Google said that the new format would allow the creators and partners to convey “videos with an amazing high resolution” and offer viewers the option to see a clearer picture if you watch a live stream on a device enabled for 4K.
4K is a measure of video resolution. Multiply the number of pixels in comparison with the traditional images of “high definition”. Often, however, analysts at CNET have not noticed much difference in the quality of the image.
users will be able to experience the technology first-hand Thursday, during the transmission of the Game Awards at 6 p. m. ET/3 p. m. PT. The full program will be broadcast live in 4K.
